FSB recently conducted a detailed study of their members called ‘Women in Enterprise: The Untapped Potential’, which explores the specific challenges faced by women-led businesses. The report finds that female entrepreneurship has been highlighted as an area where FSB can make a big difference. Issues which were more acute for women business owners included balancing work and family life, achieving credibility for the business and a lack of confidence. The report’s recommendations included more networking and mentoring opportunities.
The Woman Who...Network is a non membership organisation with no criteria for attendance. You may be a woman in business, thinking of changing career or embarking on your first business venture. Men are also welcome to attend.
Our events are specifically timed to ensure that women in business with caring responsibilities have the opportunity to attend, hence the formal part of our event starts at 9.45am.
