Under the Making Tax Digital programme HMRC will require all businesses to keep records in electronic format and update HMRC digitally each quarter of income and expenditure. This is for all businesses and will eventually cover income tax, corporation tax and VAT.
After the latest election, Making Tax Digital has resumed. This useful seminar explains the key points for both businesses and individuals and helps users to ready their records and practices in order to experience a smooth and painless transition.
The event, is designed by Shelley Harvery, Director and two of the leading Tax advisors from the SFB Group, it will begin with a presentation that outlines key points, examine their effect and suggests ways businesses and individuals can prepare for the changes. In addition the presentation will examine the costs of the changes and suggest ways to minimise unnecessary expenditure and disruption.
Following the presentation there will be a question and answer session and the opportunity to share concerns best practice with other local businesses.
The event will end with a buffet lunch.
