For the past five years, the Leicester Mercury has been highlighting the achievements of the county’s top executives with its annual Business Executive Awards. This year will be no exception, with the winners announced at a black tie ceremony at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Thursday, November 2.
The panel of judges is now whittling down the list of potential finalists.
The judges – picked from the great and good of the business community – have been going through a long list of candidates to determine the top executives in small, medium and large businesses.
When the final decision is made, one of those three winners will also be chosen as our overall Business Executive of the Year.
The judges will also be looking for someone to take the titles of young executive and non-executive of the year, and help pick someone to collect our annual lifetime achievement award.
The judges are: Chris Darlington, Mazars; Eileen Richards, Eileen Richards Recruitment; Mike Kapur, Semper Vox; Tim Maxted, below, Berkeley Insurance; Ian Borley, KPMG; Jane Cowley, Gateley Plc and Leicestershire Business Voice; and Anjuu Trevedi and Chris Shaw, both of the University of Leicester.
