If you are looking for financial support to help grow your business this is a rare opportunity to meet a number of grant providers in Leicester and Leicestershire – all under one roof! Grant providers will be present from: Digital Growth Programme, Collaborate for Growth, Green BELLE, NBV Grants, Manufacturing Growth Programme, East Leicestershire LEADER programme and North West Leicester Grants.

You have a choice of five venues and dates where our speakers will give a short pitch about each grant - in no more than five minutes. Then you can attend two workshops for more details.

These events are funded by the European Regional Development Fund and partner organisations. To attend businesses must:

-          Be in Leicester or Leicestershire

-          Trading business-to-business

-          Be an SME (small or medium enterprise with less than 250 employees)

Grant Descriptions

Digital Growth Programme: financial support is available to exploit existing technology solutions or new systems and software to improve business performance and productivity. Grants from £2,000 to £16,000 are available through the scheme and must be 60% match-funded by the business. www.leics.digital.co.uk 

Collaborate Business Growth Grant: an ERDF funded programme to provide support with purchase of machinery and/or premises refurbishment for businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire. Grants from £5,000 to £25,000 can be made up to 33% of the total project cost. Available to existing SMEs, trading business-to-business. http://bit.ly/collabfunding 

Green BELLE: can help cut your carbon emissions and spend on energy costs with a grant up to £10,000. Grants from £1,000 to £10,000 can be used for projects such as energy efficient lighting, new heating systems, renewable energy generation and more. LEADER: part of the European Union’s Rural Development Programme, was launched locally in East Leicestershire in 2015 to support rural business and communities across Melton and Harborough, as well as parts of Charnwood and Blaby. Grants of up to £35,000 are available and in some cases £75,000 can be awarded. North West Leicestershire Grant: Enterprising Town Centres will offer grants between £500 and £25,000 to SMEs based in the district to support our town centres to invest, grow and create new local employment. The Village Shop Grants Scheme will offer grants between £1,000 - £3,000 to help improve shops that provide essential goods and/or services to their surrounding area. Manufacturing Growth Programme: an ERDF funded programme to provide support for growth focused manufacturing businesses. Working with SME manufacturing companies in East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber and East of England. Specialist Manufacturing Growth Managers offer free strategic business reviews, impartial advice and signposting with the opportunity to access grant funding up to 35% towards the cost of any consultancy and coaching (not including training). Average grant value is expected to be around £1,400 towards the cost of a supported project costing £3,400. www.manufacturinggrowthprogramme.co.uk or call T: 01664 501301.

NBV Grants: Grant for Enterprise supports the growth or development of existing micro, SMEs based in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Greater Lincolnshire. Grants of between £1,000 and £2,500 are available. This is for a maximum of 25% of eligible costs. In order to access the business grant, the minimum project spend is £4,000. Grant funding can be used to purchase services or equipment to help your business expand or diversify. www.nbv.co.uk
